If you grew up watching Sci-fi from the 90’s, you might think that the Fifth Element is Love. WRONG! It’s Aether, as we found out from our second collaboration with cult social media figure
Stephen Ellcock. After the success of our last collab, we’ve teamed up again with Stephen and his publishers Thames and Hudson, to produce a selection of 5 tees to coincide with the release of his new book Elements: Chaos, order and the five elemental forcesStephen has chosen a remarkable set of images from the book to adorn the tees in our collection, ascending from earth, through water, air and fire before culminating in the most spiritual of the elements, celestial aether. The muted colour palette of the collection sees a tonal back-print linking each tee to its accompanying elemental illustration. Everybody in the office has a different favourite – which one is yours? In a very special twist, we will have a limited number of books signed by Stephen for sale in our store in Ulverston and on the website, but when they’re gone, they’re gone. Make sure you sign up for a reminder on the launch date of 17th October. And no, we’re still not sure what Aether is, better get the book to find out!Earth Earth represented rocks and stability.
Water Water represented fluidity and adaptability.
Air Air represented movement and expansion.
Fire Fire represented life and energy.
